Here, in Northern Michigan, the cool air has begun to blow, the leaves have fallen off the trees and the Christmas decorations are up at all the stores. (OK, let's be honest, the decorations are up at my house too!)  All these things are reminders that Christmas is right around the corner! Maybe some of you are Christmas countdown people, you know the exact number of days, hours and minutes until Christmas. Perhaps you start Christmas shopping for the next year the day after Christmas. In fact, 40 percent of consumers begin shopping before Halloween. (National Retail Foundation)
